Job Title: IT Support Specialist
Location: Evolve Online School (Remote/On-site as needed)

Job Summary:
Evolve Online School seeks a dynamic and skilled IT Support Specialist to join our technology team. This role is of utmost importance as it provides essential technical support to our students, parents, and teachers, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience with our online learning platform. The role also includes managing backend systems and overseeing the micromanufacturing setup, making it a diverse and exciting opportunity. The ideal candidate will be adept in managing Active Directory and our Learning Management System (Learner Management System) to ensure secure and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
- Provide timely and effective technical support to students, parents, and teachers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with applications on MS Windows and iPad devices.
- Assist with setting up and maintaining user accounts, passwords, and permissions within the school's systems.
Application Management:
- Manage the backend of the school's various online applications, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
- Monitor and maintain software used in the learning environment, including Learner Management System and other educational tools.
Micromanufacturing Setup:
- Manage and maintain micromanufacturing equipment, including the laser cutter, UV printer, and CNC router.
- Provide training and support to users of these devices, ensuring safe and effective operation.
System Administration:
- Administer and manage the school's Active Directory infrastructure.
- Oversee the Learning Management System, ensuring smooth operation and user accessibility.
- Implement security protocols to protect school data and manage access controls.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the AIT Team and other departments to support school-wide technology initiatives.
- Provide training sessions for staff and students to improve their technical proficiency.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure the availability of necessary resources and support.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or related roles.
- Experience with MS Windows, iOS (iPad), Active Directory, and Learning Management Systems (Learner Management System).
- Experience with micromanufacturing tools (laser cutters, UV printers, CNC routers) is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on MS Windows and iPad devices.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory and managing user accounts.
- Familiarity with backend management of online applications and Learner Management System platforms.
- Basic knowledge of micromanufacturing technologies and their software.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proactive problem-solver with a customer-service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Work Environment:
- Remote and on-site as required.
- Must be available for occasional evening or weekend support based on school needs.
- Flexible work hours may be necessary to support the diverse schedules of students, parents, and teachers.
